Celia Jackson

Celia will be contributing artist for our second annual Art Liberation event coming up on June 7th at 49-1/2 geary.

Celia's work is can be described as 50% impressionistic, 50% modern primitive and 50% multimedia. Her portraits are exquisite characters expressing a colorful passion through a cool, underwater lense.

Celia likes to capture a moment of interaction. In her portraits of couples she often depicts them playing games. This creates a collage effect with a lot of color, movement and intrigue.



This is a group portrait. Here we see a greater use of multimedia.



Here she captures her subject performing. Here perspective is as playfull as her use of color and wild lines.
